Liftgate Delivery Services for Heavy and Oversized Freight in the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic
When your shipment is too heavy for manual handling or you don’t have a loading dock, FMD Distribution LLC makes the process easy. Our liftgate delivery service ensures your freight is loaded and unloaded safely, securely, and on time, no dock or forklift needed.
Based in Kearny, NJ, we provide reliable liftgate truck delivery across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, giving you the professional logistics support your business deserves.
What Is a Liftgate Delivery Service?
A liftgate delivery service uses a hydraulic platform attached to the back of a truck to move freight from the truck bed to the ground level. It’s ideal when you’re shipping heavy or oversized items, or when your location doesn’t have a dock or forklift available.
At FMD Distribution, we use air-ride liftgate trucks to ensure smooth, damage-free handling for high-value shipments, including electronic office equipment, medical devices, and sensitive freight. You get the peace of mind that your delivery is handled with care from start to finish.
When You Need a Liftgate Truck Delivery
You’ll benefit from our liftgate truck delivery service if:
- You’re receiving or shipping heavy freight (typically 150 lbs or more).
- Your business or residence doesn’t have a loading dock or forklift.
- You need a professional driver to lower freight safely to ground level.
- Your delivery involves fragile, high-value, or oversized freight that requires precision handling.
- You’re scheduling curbside or White Glove delivery and want to prevent damage or injury.
Our professional drivers operate each liftgate with safety and efficiency, ensuring your shipment is unloaded exactly where it needs to be, without risk to your team or property.
